Everyone is raving about Rick Owen’s showcase of his RTW SS2014
collection at Fashion Week Paris. Owen’s displayed his collection in an
unorthodox but captivating way, by featuring number of models who were African
American and/or bigger than the average model. Tackling racial and image issues
in the industry, Owen’s models were recruited from step teams in the US to
create and even more unexpected performance. Make sure you get a chance to see
a recap from the show, it’s definitely one that will stand out for many shows
to come.
