MIA's Matangi Track List Tees

Last week musician, MIA, released the artwork for her fourth upcoming studio album, Matangi. Today, she posted a Instagram photo with various colored tees, each with a song off the new album; fans wondered whether the shirts would be sold. With the popular hit single, "Bad Girls", the eccentric artist had the opportunity to work with producers: Hit-Boy, Switch, Surkin, So Japan and Danja over the past three year to create Matangi. The album will be in stores this November, let's hope the tees will be available soon as well!

Japan's most famous fashion festival returns this October! Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tokyo will feature pieces from brands : Christian Dada, beautiful people, DressedUndressed, Han Ahn Soon, JNBY, Facetasm, Montonari Ono, Yukiko Hanai and many more. Keep an eye out for what these designers showcase on the runway for SS2014! 

Denim for SS14: Balmain

Balmain featured a number of denim looks on the runway for Fashion Week Paris. A variation of shades, patterns, and textures in denim meshed with silver chaining details made these pieces from the SS2014 collection.

Everyone is raving about Rick Owen’s showcase of his RTW SS2014 collection at Fashion Week Paris. Owen’s displayed his collection in an unorthodox but captivating way, by featuring number of models who were African American and/or bigger than the average model. Tackling racial and image issues in the industry, Owen’s models were recruited from step teams in the US to create and even more unexpected performance. Make sure you get a chance to see a recap from the show, it’s definitely one that will stand out for many shows to come.

20th Annual Art of Fashion Campaign

Neiman Marcus is back with their 20th season of The Art of Fashion campaign. For Fall 2013, the team collaborated with fashion photographer Sarah Moon to showcase their top picks of the season from Alexander McQueen, Oscar de La Renta, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Burberry Prorsum, Chanel, Giorgio Armani and other cutting edge luxury designers. The campaign was featured exclusively in this months edition of their in-house publication,The Book.

Brooklyn Museum x Gaultier This October

The Brooklyn Museum will be featuring the exibition: The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk. From October 25 through February 23 you'll be able to view the multimedia display of Gaultier's avant-garde designs all the way back to the 70s when the designer entered the world of fashion.
