Brooklyn Museum x Gaultier This October

The Brooklyn Museum will be featuring the exibition: The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk. From October 25 through February 23 you'll be able to view the multimedia display of Gaultier's avant-garde designs all the way back to the 70s when the designer entered the world of fashion. 

Marc Jacobs Fall 2013

Taking a look back at NYFW in Februrary we not only got a sneak peak of Marc Jacobs of Marc Jacobs Fall RTW collection, we saw this amazing rising sun runway display. Keep an eye out for the collection this season; a mixture of fur pieces, sequin dresses, trenches, long hem lines and satin.

Art Meets Fashion: Yinka Shonibare This October

African artist, Yinka Shonibare is known for using wax print fabrics in is elaborate installations. His headless mannequins used for his projects are usually dressed in detailed Victorian-style garments. This October he will be featured at the Miniartextil International Festival of Contemporary Art in Lake Como, Italy.
